A new forum for the South West ICT sector
Crisp eBusiness is a founding member of Wired West, a new forum launched in January 2004 to give voice and visibility to ICT organisations in the South West and allow them to thrive.
The South West of England has a rich and diverse ICT (Information Communication & Technology) base, which ranges from digital arts and media, through hardware and software design, to infrastructure servicing and provision. As well as commercial organisations in the ICT sector the South West hosts class leading academic and research organisations.
Wired West’s website is central to the organisation’s activities of networking, communicating, sharing, promoting and encouraging best practice.
As well as the virtual community that Wired West hosts and supports through its News Service and on-line facilities, Wired West also manages an active events programme to drive best practice sharing and networking, face-to-face.
Wired West has two types of membership - standard and full.
Standard membership is free but will have limited access to events, membership profiling, news and marketing. This type of membership is designed for individuals and small organisations that have an interest to follow the ICT sector as observers only.
Full membership is for organisations and individuals that use, supply or support ICT within the South West. Membership cost per annum is £195 and is intended for active ICT sector participants, be they users or suppliers.
